NOTICE OF ADMISSION SCHEDULE FOR CLASS-NURSERY IN AF SCHOOL TAMBARAM FOR AY 2026-2027

1. Admission is open for class Nursery at Air Force School Tambaram for the academic year 2026-2027. The Child should complete 3 years as on 01 Apr 26. No age waiver will be granted. Admission form is available in school website www.airforceschooltambaram.in. Parents can download the admission form and fill it as per the instruction.

2. Air Force Personnel can submit their forms at school office (Timing 0900h to 1330h).

3. Civilians can drop the form in box placed at Air Force Main Guard Room and Sub Guard Room (Timing 0830h to 1330h).

The admission schedule is as follows: -

3.1. Submission of Admission Forms : 16 Jan 26 – 17 Feb 26
3.2. Display of 1st List     : 02 Mar 26 (Monday)
3.3. Display of 2nd List     : 24 Mar 26 (Tuesday)

INVITATION OF ELIGIBLE APPLICATIONS FOR APPEARING IN SELECTION PROCESS IRO VACANCY/ EMPANELMENT OF ACADEMIC STAFF, ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF & HELPER IN AF SCHOOL TAMBARAM FOR AY 2026-27

AF School Tambaram invites applications from eligible and desirous candidates for the vacancy/ empanelment of Primary Teacher (PRT), Nursery Trained Teacher (NTT), Computer Teacher (Part-Time), Clerk and Helper at Air Force School Tambaram on a contractual basis for the AY 2026-27 (01 Apr 2026 to 29 Mar 2027). Interested candidates should take print-out of the Bio-data form uploaded on the AF School website www.airforceschooltambaram.in [under the tab Selection and Empanelment in Air Force School, Tambaram (Non-Government Organisation)']. Relevant QRs are also uploaded on the ibid website of AF School. The duly completed forms along with recent photographs (pasted in the filled-in application-cum-form), attested copies of educational qualifications, desirable qualifications if any and relevant experience certificates should be submitted in a single copy (in hard) to Air Force School Tambaram C/O AF Stn Tambaram, at the earliest or latest by 03 Jan 2026. For outstation or remote candidates or any candidate if so desired, the duly completed applications as cited above can be sent via post (ordinary or speed post) to AF School on the address "Executive Director, Air Force School Tambaram, C/o Air Force Station Tambaram, Chennai-600046) so as to reach before or by the last date of submission of applications, ie. 03 Jan 26.

Candidates belonging in the category of - Ex-servicemen/Women/ Physically-challenged/ Ex-teachers from AF Schools - will be given permissible age relaxation as per the provisions envisaged in Edn Code for AF Schools-2020 (revised), provided that the candidates are meeting with the criteria stipulated.

Applications received after the due date and of those not fulfilling the eligibility criteria will be summarily rejected. The date(s) of conduct of selection tests/ interview will be intimated to the eligible candidates subsequently, soon after scrutiny/ vetting of the applications.

Chairman, School Management Committee (SMC) of AF School Tambaram reserves the right of cancelling the selection process at any stage without any notice to the candidates or without assigning any reasons to them.
